Coach/ Machine Pitch Rules

The umpire is in charge of the game at all times.

Regular rules of baseball will be used except the following:

If a player does not hit the ball after 3-4 pitches from the coach, a tee will be used in order to expedite play.

No bunting - the ball must go past the 6-foot circle to be considered fair.

Each game will consist of at least three innings.

There is a one hour time limit for all games unless it is a tie game or the third inning is not completed.

No stealing bases. Players may not leave the base until the ball is hit.

The ball is dead when in in control by any player in the infield or as ruled by the umpire.

Inning is determined by 3 outs or when all players have batted.

To eliminate forfeits, a team can play with fewer than nine players. (If 9 players are present for a team then the team must field nine players)

The home team offers the prayer before each game.

Defensive Coaches should not be on the field but may be in the outfield to help keep balls from going onto soccer games in progress.

All rules are subject to common sense and/or agreement by both coaches.
