4-5 Year Old Tee Ball Rules and Regulations

The umpire is in charge of all games.

Regular rules of baseball apply except for the following:

  1. The ball will be hit off the tee unless both coaches agree otherwise.
  2. No bunting – the ball must go past the arch to be considered fair.
  3. Games will be limited to three innings or 50 Minutes
  4. No stealing bases. Players may not leave the base until the ball is hit.
  5. The ball is dead when any player in the infield has control of the ball at their position or the umpire signals the ball dead.
  6. All players bat each inning regardless of the number of outs.
  7. The last batter will continue to run until an out is made or home base is tagged.
  8. Only five players on defense are allowed inside the baseline. All other players must be behind the baseline.
  9. The pitcher stays inside the circle until the ball is hit.
